“ We stopped in late afternoon so they weren't busy. The waitress came to take our order quickly. Ordered 2 meat dinner with brisket and ribs. The brisket was tender and juicy. The ribs were okay but not fall off the bone good. I got collards too salty and Italian green beans straight out of the can no seasoning. My husband got fried okra very good and baked beans which were also good. The unsweetened tea was just the way I like it strong and fresh. ”

The tables were full and there was a steady stream of customers at the counter. You know it's a local favorite when you see police AND EMS crews dining alongside you :) Now to the food...I chose the pulled pork sandwich with two sides: fries and fried okra. All good! The fried okra is the best I've had - the seasoning was so good and perfectly crispy! The service was friendly and fast - we were back on the road in no time! Thank you, Papa Buck's! ”
